Measures 8.5x 5", unpaginated in original leather. Foxing, chipping to spine, rubbed corners, small damaged spot to Preface's page vii. Front cover is detached, spine label is in place and mostly legible; fomer owners' names and pencil notes on ffeps. A restorable copy of this desireable work.

Very Good+: Measure 10 x 6/5" in Green cloth with gild and embossed design on cover and spine. Vol I: 348 pps 37 Color plates and 317 wood engravings and Vol II: 489 pps, 42 color plates and 592 wod engravings. Some rubbing to corners and edges, small tears (< 2") where spine meets back cover; small chip out of top of spine on Volume I. Former owner's name in both volumes. Light 'ghosting' on tissues. Binding is nice and tight. Color of plates is nice and bright.

Measures 9 x11 1/2" with 376 pages. 15 Color Denton Fish; 1 Male Pheasant and 1 Deer plates. Binding is is good, with spine rolled, and minor edgewear. Deocorative cover, heavily gilted. Former owner's name inscribed on floral decorated FFEP. Pages 11 and 123 have small margin tears: where glue from the hand tipped Denton plates attached to pages. Photo examples of Adironak Deer Hounds, Deer Antlers and more.

Measures 4.5 x 7.5" with 215 pages and includes discourses by Lewis Cass, Henry R. Schoolcraft, Henry Whiting and John Biddle on topics ranging from politics and early European Adventurers to Lake con ditions. Minimal amount of foxing; spine label damaged and illegible, modest wear and soiling to brown cloth cover. Dampstain appears on first 11 pages, but is barely perceptible. Former owner's name and small hole in top of FFEP. The hinges and binding in tact and nice and tight. Hard to find title in very good condition.
